Age has come to reveal to me this; that life is made up of a collection of experiences. Some lives are filled with many experiences and some with but a few. Happiness and fulfilment are not mutually inclusive to either path.

I have made specific decisions in my life to gather a diverse and eclectic mixture of experiences stemming from; professional, creative, entrepreneurial and academic endeavours. I feel blessed to have had all of these amazing encounters with people, places and events as they have all been the influence by which i create.

In opening up my life to be one full of experiences, I have come to understand that as much growth comes from the negative as the positive. I have been both to the heights of euphoria and to the depths of sorrow, but without knowing both I fear I would not appreciate my present abundance.

Wisdom that is akin to growing older has revealed the understanding of the interconnectedness of 'everything'. Firstly with the understanding of how my creative skills, once refined, could pass seamlessly through the fashion, beauty and design industries. My most recent understandings are focussed on the interlocking paths of all global relationships and unlearning what I've been taught my entire life about the opposite.

So, from what I know of all this my happiness and fulfilment will be found in 'the voyage', with the understanding that if I am not doing, being and creating that my life will pass by regardless.

I Need to Work On
